York Solutions is hiring for a Business Systems Analyst.
Qualifications:
Top 5 technical background skills: Infrastructure, security, cloud, data, integrations.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of higher education and/or experience. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, preferred.
Minimum 4 years of analytic experience in a business systems applications and/or information technology environment, or equivalent combination of related higher education and experience.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications and/or database management programs preferred.
Responsibilities:
Be an active contributor to the modernization of a public facing bond purchasing website. The Business Systems Analyst is a crucial role that assists the product owner by providing technical expertise and experience to ensure developers have well refined technical and business stories in a timely basis to develop in an Agile environment. Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, and revises existing systems and software as necessary to support the business environment. Troubleshoots complex technical problems and issues. Responds to requests for information, including developing complex ad-hoc reports and queries in databases and/or management information systems. Provides analytic support to department management for business planning and decision-making. Develops and revises procedures, defines processes, and provides training for users. Serves as a liaison and coordinates business application enhancements and/or software updates with Department, Bank, FRS, and/or federal agency staff. Participates in and/or leads department and FRS information systems and related projects. Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions. Provides work direction and support to less experienced staff. Performs other duties or responsibilities as needed.
