Responsibilities & Job Duties:
Understand the overall SAP direction and create a high level view of end state FICO process and systems with the integration points, especially with SD and assumptions.
Work with business to gather and analyze business requirements.
Work with other IT teams (legacy systems, MW, etc.) in order to respond to business needs and requests.
Support SAP production environment, responding to users needs and concerns.
Assist in prioritizing the demands from the business to improve the solution.
Perform functional mapping, gap analysis and recommend the best way to address the gaps.
Write detailed functional specifications for workflow, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms (WRICEF). Ensure that the solution implemented is consistent with the overall direction and the end state.
Author functional specifications at the level required for off-site ABAP development. Estimate the customization and integration efforts required.
Assist in creating detailed project plan, when needed.
Review SAP installations at other facilities (in Europe, Canada, Brazil) and incorporate the learning solution and rollout.
Configure SAP-ECC system. Create rapid prototypes and demonstrate how requirements will be satisfied.
Provide as needed support with data migration, interface design.
Create test scripts, perform unit tests and integration tests and work with end users on User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Assist with users training.
Provide guidance on continuous improvement. Identify improvement opportunities that can be addressed through FICO in the near term.
Maintain systems documentation including functional design specifications, test cases.
Provide ongoing support.
Minimum Education Requirement
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
Preferred Education Requirement
Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Minimum Experience Requirement:
In-depth knowledge of FICO, the integration among the modules, and master & transactional data integration.
At least 6 years of configuration and implementation experience of FICO, of which at least 4 years in architect / solution design role.
At least 2 full life cycles of SAP-ECC project implementation covering these modules in collaboration with ECC SD.
Experience in SAP Mill Products Solution.
Basic knowledge of SD module with Variant Configuration and Master Data Configuration.
Strong understanding of the SAP best practices.
Experience of configuring FICO like, but not limited to, Financial accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit, General
Ledger, Closing, Bank accounting, Asset Accounting, integration with SD-billing, Lockbox processing.
Basic ABAP/4 knowledge and debugging expertise, BAPI / LSMW / BADI knowledge, user exit / enhancement point knowledge.
Experience of configuring idocs in and out of SAP.
Proven leadership skills and command of English language both spoken and written.
Demonstrated design and analytical skills.
Ability to effectively interact with various user and organizational groups to determine requirements and set expectations.
Ability to multi-task and strong time management skills.
Microsoft Office skills are essential.
Adept in SAP solution manager, ALE process, CTS and Transport processes
Demonstrated understanding of Middleware Tools. Experience with integration between SAP and legacy systems.
Production support experience
Good Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
