Enterprise Architecture & Security organization is building a team of dynamic and influential thought leaders, representing diverse backgrounds and specific focus areas. Extending beyond the role of technologists, these individuals require strong business acumen, influencing skills and executive presence. Responsibilities range from establishing strategies with business and IT executives, prioritizing key initiatives with management, to leading technical resources through vision, design and execution.

For this role, the architect provides vision, expertise and long range planning in the area of enterprise integration architecture, application integration, data integration, B2B integration, ETL & EDI. A person in this role will serve as an advisor and resident expert, work closely with leadership to set the strategic direction, and work with project teams to provide architectural guidance & oversight.

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for technical and architectural leadership of their focus area
Establish and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with IT & business leaders
Work as a member of Enterprise Architecture team and contribute to a maturing EA practice
Conduct studies, investigate latest technology developments & market trends; Analyze impact on current and future system requirements
Provide objective and unbiased analysis, balancing short and long-term objectives, customer needs, business constraints, and technological realities
Work within and across business lines and technology groups to understand and align technical/business requirements and technology choices
Develop and present corporate policies, procedures, practices and standards
Establish and oversee adherence to standards and best practices related to their focus area
Establish and maintain close working relationships with IT teams responsible for systems delivery, systems support and infrastructure operations
Coach and mentor other associates on technical skills development
Partner with strategic vendors to stay apprised of changes in relevant trends and technologies
Communicate technical information to a range of partners & stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a midsize or large corporation supporting multiple lines of business with global presence
3+ years of experience leading development of enterprise systems integration strategies & architecture
10+ years of experience in at least three of the following disciplines - EAI, ETL, ESB, SOA, Web Services, B2B integration, EDI, Message brokers
12+ years of experience in architecture, design or development of enterprise solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in enterprise architecture
Experience working with solutions delivery teams using Agile/Scrum ore similar methodologies
Understanding of technology lifecycle costs sufficient to estimate TCO impact
Experience with enterprise systems, like CRM, ERP, Field Services Management, Supply Chain solutions, HR systems
Exceptional written, verbal & presentation skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills including collaboration, facilitation and influencing
Experience with enterprise architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
