Technical tools:

ii. App-V / Windows Installer Repackaging
iii. Scripting (PowerShell, VB Script, etc.)
iv. Virtualization

Notes from Conference Call:
i. Looking for level 3 support. They will be handling escalations from the desktop support folks.
Ii. They are mostly seeing application deployment folks.
Iii. Medica currently has the application packaged and they have an architect.
Iv. They would like to have someone who understands packaging and deployment sand can work at an advanced level and understands scripting.
V. They are looking for folks who are capable of figuring out why something is happening after the 3rd or 4th time not just clicking next.
Vi. They want someone who understands the environment and what the downstream impact is.

i. *Perform application packaging and L3 Support for COTS application software. *SCCM Administration including deployment of COTS applications to UAT, Pilot, and Production users. *App-V / Windows Installer Repackaging *Scripting (PowerShell, VB Script, etc.) *Firm understanding of Microsofts Group Policies Experience in Desktop Virtualization Technologys (Vmware, Citrix, etc) *Experience with industry standard operating system and application administration including: Microsoft Windows Server, IBM AIX, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft IIS, Apache, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SCCM, Oracle DBMS, Identity and Access Manager, etc. *Advance knowledge of Windows networking, domains, system policies, trusts, name resolution, WINS, DNS, DHCP, and advanced TCP/IP. *Advanced knowledge of wireless networking configuration and operation with end user devices *Extensive knowledge with patching technologies - preferably via SCCM *Proven capabilities in planning and analysis for hardware, software and communication systems; development and implementation methodologies for systems analysis, installation, design and support. *Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems, working with product vendors, monitoring open trouble tickets, follow-up to ensure proper service procedures and incident closing. *Familiarity with enterprise storage systems and management tools.
